How Does Fabrix® Laundry Liquid Work? The active ingredient in Fabrix® liquid laundry detergent, Hygienilac®, prevents access to nutrients so that bacteria starve and die. The Hygienilac® also imparts a residual effect on washed garments. Laboratory Test Results for Fabrix® Independent laboratory tests have proven scientifically that at 30oC, Fabrix kills C. difficile and MRSA, and destroys C. difficile spores.
